This is probably the earliest American produced propaganda currency note. Although not shown on the leaflet, the code is "12" which dates it circa 1965/6. On the reverse of the note the finder reads: "Be "Three Ready": 1. To call off the Lao Dong Party directed aggression in South Vietnam. 2. To receive more rice which the Lao Dong Party is trading to the Red Chinese for weapons. 3. To not endure hardships imposed on you in support of the communist aggression in South Vietnam."  It seems likely that the expression "Three Ready" was being used in a Government slogan at the time.
